The orphan girl Polly is sent to live on the farm owned by her grandfather Ted. She bonds with one of Ted's mares, but the mare dies giving birth. Polly is amazed to see that the newborn foal is a unicorn. Now, Polly and Ted must protect the marvelous creature from those who want exploit it, including an unscrupulous circus.
